Disclaimer: I do not own Xiaolin Showdown and make no money off of these writings.
Note: Decided that this will definitely end at some multiple of four. Haven't decided what multiple but it'll be a multiple. ANYWAY, decided to post links to this every four chapters. Also, for the first portion of it, the chapters aren't very close together. It makes it a bit broken but the reason is because nothing fascinating happens then.
Also, my icon is love. >:T I just... don't have a damn Chase one yet. Once I make one it's gonna be a GIF and it's gonna say stuff.
Chapter One - The Accident
He wasn't terrified, he knew that everything was spiraling down. He had no control over the event. Why hadn't he done what he wanted this time? He could have prevented it. His stomach lurched as the plane lost another piece of it, the wing tearing off causing the machine to spin.
Chapter Two - Stop and Listen
His fingers were running over the walls, trying to remember just where he was. He took a step and set down his cane before repeating the process. Sunglasses adorned his face, the black hook from his left eyes seeming to come from nowhere.
Chapter Three - The Trees and the Roses
It was an odd sensation really, the way he seemed unable to do anything but sit there and actually feel at peace. And it felt amazing that he could do it. A vine came up to stroke along his cheek and he smiled. He didn't need to wear glasses and he didn't need to wear his brace.
Chapter Four - Feeling Worthless
This was getting ridiculous. He sighed, feeling his ears twitch at the familiar stepping pattern of Alan. He sat down slowly, knowing he would have to wait for a moment or two before his butler not only got to him but finished what he was doing. His knee was throbbing, likely bruised after hitting the fourth floor banister.
