Ok, i'm ending this presale on FRIDAY MAY 2ND!! You basically have a little over a week to get your order in for the "Special Edition" presale of the book. Every book will be signed and numbered as a Special Limited Run of the new book. After this presale, they will just be counted as a regular run, so if you wanna really impress the kids at home, I highly suggest you get yourself yours ordered now!

I must repeat: Every book bought through MAY 2ND gets it signed and numbered by the artist himself, with recognition that you're a lucky "Early Adopter" of the new book!

Order yours today!

shaking off the hit
screaming in the woods
bleeding from the ears
pulling off the skin
melting down the bones
breathing out the hate
cutting out the tumors
breaking off the branches
chasing out the ghosts
burning off the poisons
shooting down the fear
throwing out the past
exiting the stage

making way for this

opening the doors
airing out the rooms
lighting the new flames
rolling in the grass
swimming in the joy
floating in the ether
befriending the pain
eating all the food
drinking in the light
giving all my heart
dreaming of the day
smiling in the sun
riding on a bike

My friend and one of my musical accomplices John Kieltyka took this photo of me as part of a portrait project he's working on. We did this monday before continuing our recording of what we've dubbed "Northwestern Death Soul". You can see the rest of the pieces in this project here at his Digital Railroad archive.

Erin Frost

'Muse & Monster'

A new collection of photographs by Erin Frost

Opening Reception
Friday November 9th, 2007
6-10pm

Square Room Gallery
1316 East Pike
Seattle, WA

On view through November 16 by appointment
206.267.7120

Muse & Monster:
Erin Frost presents her latest collection of
photographs that continue her exploration of
reconstruction through self-portraits. These images
pursue ideas of myth and ephemeral moments. A Seattle
based visual artist, Erin's erotic and surreal
traditional black and white photographs are influenced
by the decadent and dangerous tales of dreams and
memory. Through the intuitive process of
self-portraits, and often using mirrors to distort and
transform, she works with the concept of reinvention
fueled by creative desire.

Just a thought:

Anyone in the UK know of any galleries in London I might investigate about getting a show?

Any suggestions yielding positive results will get a special treat. ;-)

Sincerely,

Mr. Nemeth

Ghostboy
I'm not dead. Just dealing with a lot of things that are keeping me about the ethers...

Ghostwalk
The above image was taken by a friend of mine, local artist/photographer/musician John Kieltyka. He's taken camera-phone shots of his walk to work every day for 6 months. This one was of particular interest to me, and he's graciously allowed me to post it here.

Ghostsongs
Last Thursday, I got together with the above-mentioned John K in his recording studio and re-invented Junior Walker's tune "Shotgun" as a Full Moon Swamp Monster. We stayed up late; the moon, alcohol, and the atmosphere of one of Seattle's oldest builings guiding us through the gritty pulverization of a pop-soul classic. I'll be posting the finished product soon...

Ghostride
Last Sunday I went on a scooter run with the Los Gatos Gordos club for their Paseo De Los Muertos ride. A beautiful fall day and dry roads led us through the major cemetaries in town, and macabre points of demise about our fair city. I even had such a close call on my bike that i'm still shaken by it, actually....but someone seems to want me around a bit longer. Ah, the irony of dying on a ride that's touring death....

Ghosttalk
Sometimes time stops still and you become aware of the way things are in a way you would never have perceived before. These moments feel like your skin has been pulled off your body, and the trance-state you acheive is nothing more than a divine communion with the universe. Your nerves may sear with agony, but ultimately the hand that heals you is your very own. You may follow the threads to points deep in the forest, but you have that same thread to pull yourself back...

This is a good thing. You find your humanity in moments such as this. You're one with the ghost...
