Twosdays
You find a time machine, of sorts. It lets you observe either the past, or the future, but not both. Which do you choose, and why?
Bonus question: If it let you visit one or the other, which would you choose?
The past, hands down. The past. But not so far into the past, more or less just far back enough so that I knew who my family was and what happened to me when I was younger. Not being able to remember weighs heavily on my conscious even now.
If I could visit, I think I would still have to go with the past. I might not be able to change the events that happened, but perhaps I could at least spend a few minutes with people I hopefully cared about.Who knows, perhaps I would be the one to pull myself out of the wreckage.
