Introduction:

Introducing the AI for Good Hackathon: Harnessing the Power of AI to Make a Difference!

Our hackathon is dedicated to leveraging the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to address pressing societal challenges and promote the public good. Participants will have access to a wide range of resources specifically designed to support their AI-driven projects.

Tools and Technologies:

AWS Sandboxes: We will provide a variety of AWS resources with AWS experts on site to help you get your project up and running in the cloud.

Chat GPT coaching: Have you tried coding with the help of GPT yet? Need some pointers on where to start? We'll have some people around who have experience there and can help accelerate your hacking with the help of AI tools.

GPT-4 API Keys: Want to build with GPT but need some credits? Each team will have access to a limited use Open AI key which can be used with GPT-3.5 or GPT-4 to experiment and build with, and there will be some people around to help get started with that.

Mentorship and facilitation: Nervous about where to start or what you'll build or how? We will have several facilitators around who can help you with a variety of challenges and connect you with other people at the hack who can help you move forward. This is a learning and growth experience as much as anything else, and we'll do whatever we can to make sure every team can accomplish something amazing!

Partnerships: We are partnering with local organizations and stakeholders working in areas related to public good, such as nonprofits, government agencies, and community groups. We will announce at the beginning of the event who is around and what additional resources or challenges they bring at each event to help spark ideas and motivate innovation. These partnerships provide participants with opportunities to collaborate, gain domain knowledge, and develop solutions that have real-world impact.
