CHANA seeks justice and legal resolutions for victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse, dating violence, and elder abuse. CHANA’s legal advocates provide information and support to those who have experienced abuse. The more educated and well-versed victims become, the more empowered they are to make informed decisions while navigating the judicial system. Our legal advocates will explain the legal process; provide information to help victims and survivors make informed decisions; and assist survivors as they pursue civil, criminal, and religious legal remedies.
CHANA offers a Jewish community response to the needs of people who have experienced abuse and trauma. Our team is dedicated to the elimination of domestic violence, sexual abuse, elder abuse, teen dating abuse, and all forms of interpersonal violence. We listen, counsel, support, guide, and work to heal survivors of violence and help keep them safe. At every point, we advocate for community awareness, safety, and healing.
