Dmitry Revyakin

Founder

My name is Dmitry Revyakin. In the architectural visualization community, many people know me under the name 3Dmitri. I am a 3D artist from Ukraine with over 18 years of professional experience in ArchViz.

Over this long period, I have worked with numerous studios, designers, and architects worldwide and created both commercial and personal projects, including Tokyo Jewel Box and Hut Adventurer. My work has received professional recognition such as VWartclub ArchViz Award, Best of Evermotion Award, 3ddd Award, as well as features and awards from Render.ru, CGSociety.org, and other platforms.

Professional Background

From 2014 to 2019, I was an administrator of the architectural gallery on Render.ru. During this time, I awarded the highest distinctions of the platform to dozens of artists, which gave me valuable experience in evaluating ArchViz works and a deep understanding of the professional community.

In 2018, I attended the D2 Conference in Vienna, which inspired me to create an architectural visualization award specifically for Ukraine, as at that time there were no similar initiatives for 3D artists and no established ArchViz community in the country.

CGAward Story

Later in 2018, together with a small team of like-minded professionals, we launched the first Ukrainian architectural visualization competition. Over the next eight years, the project evolved into a full-scale international platform for 3D artists from all over the world, while preserving its original format as a professional award.

Achievements

Over the past eight years, CGAward has published hundreds of works by artists from all over the world. The competition has brought together a strong international jury, including well-known industry professionals such as Bartosz Domiczek, Jakub Cech, Daniil Nagaets the founder of Render.Camp, and many other respected artists and educators from the ArchViz industry. In 2019, we organized the first exhibition of architectural visualizations in a contemporary art gallery, showcasing the best works from the competition to the public and the local creative community.

Our Mission

Today, CGAward is more than just a competition. It is an independent platform created by artists for artists. Our goal is to support the growth of the ArchViz community, help professionals develop their skills, gain professional recognition, and discover new career opportunities in a transparent and respectful environment.
