The California CEO Council is a nonpartisan coalition of leaders committed to advancing policies that ensure a thriving and prosperous Golden State for everyone.
We lead a diverse group of organizations representing an array of essential industries and fields. We have deep California roots and are invested in helping foster a robust business climate that strengthens the state’s workforce and our communities, improves quality of life, and ensures long- term economic success.
We use publicly available data and evidence-based research to identify critical challenges facing the state and innovative opportunities through which we can improve. We are committed to policy reforms that are shaped and supported through stakeholder outreach, public dialogue, and strategic engagement.
We are focused on research that can produce results. California works best when we work together.
Economic Dashboard
California is simultaneously one of the world's largest economies and a state where millions of residents struggle to afford rent, find good jobs, or feel optimistic about the future. Our state has potential but not enough opportunity.
The California Economic Dashboard was built to shine a light on both of these realities at the same time, to measure the state’s genuine strengths with the same rigor it applies to its structural challengeswhile giving policymakers, business and opinion leaders, and everyday Californians a shared, fact-based foundation for the conversations the state urgently needs to have.
