Crasis (/krey-sis/ from the Greek κρᾶσις, “mixing”, “blending”) is a collaborative duo made up of Andy Davis and Anne Lukins. They use sculpture, performance, and video to engage with themes of transformation and human ecology. Drawing from science fiction, medieval futurism and personal mythology, Crasis is rebellion against the acceleration of ecological twilight. Ukulenny is an ukulele performer and educator based in Oakland, CA. He received his musical training from UC Berkeley and CSU East Bay, and taught choir and orchestra for 5 years before becoming a full time musician. After spending the first half of his life studying various instruments, piano, guitar, cello, saxophone, he fell in love with the ukulele in 2009 and began a new musical journey.…

George Aschmann
Violin
Among other musical endeavors, George plays violin and sings with the collective Frog and Henry, who’ve played the streets of New Orleans since 2013. They revive the music first made popular in the 1920’s and 1930’s in New Orleans, Chicago, and across the U.S., a mixture of jazz, jugband, stringband, blues, and popular songs. Most of the instruments are from the same time period.

A no-nonsense approach inherited from her British roots instills in Claire the ability to initiate eloquent solutions to her problem-solving and logistics.
