The automotive and construction industries demand advanced welding skills to address efficiency, safety, and sustainability, particularly when recycled metals are used. This underscores the need for high-quality VET training that emphasizes both procedural knowledge and the underlying principles of welding processes. WELDIFY responds by integrating digital tools, robotics, and AR/VR modules into its curriculum, enabling learners to master complex welding tasks while mitigating risks from fumes and optical radiation.
Our team is organizing volunteering campaign to Clean-Up Manglis Lake. Manglis Lake is situated alongside of the Pediaios River and the linear park and is a “gateway” for calmness, relief, and relaxation, it is a jewel for the Municipality of Lakatamia. The Manglis lake, as well as the entire area around it, is a Biotope. This Biotope has been created approximately during the last fifty years since the creation of the specific lake and since the construction of the dam on the Pediaos River.
The Center for Sustainability supports the “ΚΟΜΠΟΣΤΟ” initiative, which focuses on the widespread adoption of composting in households and various social institutions. ❇️ Center for Sustainability takes every opportunity through its projects and presence to promote and inform both students and citizens in general about current programs like the “Holistic Waste Management” by the Municipality of Aglantzia. This is a relatively recent program which aims to link waste generation to billing and thus encourage its citizens to reduce their domestic waste via the Limit-Reuse-Recycle-Save philosophy.
The main objective of the Circularity is Scool! project is the co-creation and testing of a comprehensive circular schools toolkit to support schools in adopting the principles of circular economy at both educational and operational level.

Further, based on the CEDEFOP (2020)’s earlier statistics there is an evident shift towards a more general, theoretical curriculum in initial VET (IVET).
