wow, it's been a while since i posted here! while i'll be gone almost the entire summer, starting next week, i'm hoping that i'll have more free time this year now that i've graduated from high school & i'm heading for college. in the meantime, i've made a bunch of icons though imo, they're not very good as my last batch esp. the class & grey's icons as they're quite old. did i mention that i've been playing around with the coloring? yeah, i'm doing that. but, i have tried to play with the text a little more in the stocks this time. also, i've tried to make a few banners this time to mix things up a bit! enjoy!

so I really like the GA & stock icons in the post, but the House ones definitely need work, especially their icon qualities. eeks. the Meier ones are okay, I think. you can probably expect some bones & numb3rs icons in the upcoming posts!

Experimental Bones icons in this post. First time I ever made Bones icons, surprisingly, since I love the show so much. But the caps are bit different from what I'm used to, so it may take a bit more experimenting to get the hang of them.

[012] 75 icons - Devil Wears Prada, GA, Love Actually, Stock

2 posts in one month! this is setting a record! :o

so I recently saw The Devil Wears Prada & was totally amused so I had to icon it. I've been wanting to icon Love Actually for a while now, but it wasn't until I got the OST when my love for it rekindled. :]

in this post, the icons progress from most recently made to made a while ago. if you look closely, you can see that my coloring changes, haha.

[011] 99: Audrey Tautou, Natalie Portman, Evangeline Lilly, House, VM, stocks, misc.

I don't really like this batch so much as I feel like much of the icons are oversharpened again. I love how I notice this AFTEr I finish uploading them. So, there's a mixed array of actresses this time, plus a bunch of House, VM, & summer stocks. I also threw in some old challenge entries to lengthen the post a bit. Hopefully, my bandwidth at photobucket doesn't go on me.

[010] 96 icons - p&p05, everwood, vm, ga, summer stocks

I've been playing with coloring again so the icons are rather simple. also, I found a handy icon-table generator which cuts down my posting time almost in HALF! I would've sectioned the icons into their prospective subjects, but then the numbering would restart for each & that'd just be confusing. so they're all in one big table. :] & since I can't figure out why the background refuses to be gray, it'll stay white for now.

[007] 61 icons - 30/49 of Lena in SOTTP, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Winslet, Liv Tyler, VM

I don't particularly like Gwyneth Paltrow as an actress, but she looked so pretty in this Vogue photoshoot (October 2005) that I wanted to icon it. But Kate and Liv looked gorgeous as usual, so they're in this post too. :)

I didn't like HPGoF very much so don't expect to see many icons from it anymore.

My first tutorial: Uneven/Jagged text

This Tutorial is made in Photoshop 7, but I think it can be also work in PSP too.

How to make text like this:

I hope that was understandable, and that it is the easiest way to do it. I'd feel bad if there was way to make this kind of text in 3 steps. :/ But, if you do know of a shorter way, I'd love to know! Also, if you have any questions, need me to clarify anything, feel free to ask. And I'd love to see how it turns out for you!
