Nominations for CCPM Board of Directors

Each year, the Past President of CCPM is responsible for presenting to members a slate of candidates for vacancies on the CCPM Board of Directors.

CCPM is currently accepting applications to fill one (1) vacancy on the Board. Information on the vacant positions can be found below.

Board member – To become Registrar

The term for this position is two years as a Board member, renewable for an additional term of three years as Registrar. The Registrar position follows a structured rotation. Initially, the individual serves as a general Board Member to learn the role. This is followed by a term as Registrar, after which they rotate back to a general Board Member position to mentor the incoming Board Member in preparation for the Registrar role.

The Registrar shall manage the certification activities of the College. Specifically, they are responsible for:

  1. Producing an annual registry of Members and Fellows of the College as well as a registry of physicists certified in Mammography.
  2. Preparing and distributing information pertaining to the application process for Membership, Fellowship, Recertification and awards.
  3. Processing applications for Membership, Fellowship, Recertification and awards.
  4. Collaborating with the CCPM office to maintain the CCPM database, that will include the date(s) of election to Membership, Fellowship and Mammography, recertification status, and status on payment of annual dues.
  5. Co-ordinating the Recertification process.

CCPM members who have been a member of the College for at least 7 years and are good standing will be eligible for nomination.

March 13, 2026 5:00 PM ET is the deadline to submit a complete application as detailed below.

Applications are considered complete when the following have been received by CCPM:

  • The online application form which includes a short biography (helpful to include comment on why you believe you are suited to the role you are nominating for) and conflict of interest attestation
  • Signatures of a minimum of two members in good standing who support the candidate through the online application form.

Applications will be acknowledged within two (2) business days of receipt.


KEY DATES

March 13, 2026 5:00 PM ET is the deadline to submit a complete application.

March 2026: Nominees will be contacted to advise whether they fulfill the eligibility criteria for nomination.

March 2026: If there are more qualified applicants than seats available, nominees will be informed and provided an opportunity to withdraw their nomination.

April 2026: If the number of candidates exceeds the number of director vacancies, an election shall proceed.

May 2026: Candidates will be informed of the results of the election.

June 2026: Notification of members elected will be announced on or before the Annual General Meeting.
