CC-CAM 1.4.8 is a video surveillance/alarm system for Windows PCs. When you install it and add a video source to it (it can be a camcorder or even a webcam), the application will allow you to start an intruder alarm on your system. From the second you add the video source, CC-CAM will start analyzing the image and it will show you how much sensitivity it has achieved. The bigger the number is, it is the better. So, after that, you can activate the alarm, ideally, when you are no longer going to be moving in front of the PC. Because, once something moves, it will trigger it. You can set the application to take a picture of the moment in which the alarm was triggered and to also sound an acoustic alarm. A delay can also be added. I would set this application to not sound an alarm, but to take as many pictures as possible. An alarm would barely "alarm" an intruder once he's in. All he has to do is disable the speakers. CC-CAM has support for FTP and E-mail. In other words, you can have it send pictures over those two protocols. But they charge you an additional $18 for each of those features. You can also forget about the alarm functionality altogether and setup this application as a webcam stream and place it on your website.
