About

I’m a NY writer, playwright and suburban philosopher. I spotlight overlooked room elephants and lead them on parade right down the middle of Main Street, USA.

I also appear to have an abundance of Beginner’s Luck.

My first submitted pieces of fiction were published in Microfiction Monday Magazine Best of 2015. Available for purchase on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

My first full-length play was selected for the 2016 Thespis Theater Festival. Performances are scheduled for September 2016 at the Hudson Guild Theater in NYC.

My first blog post about Mid/Mundane Life Crisis (MLC) inspired a series on the TODAY show. (Okay, I’m totally speculating there, but it seems more than coincidence that days after I post about MLC, Joan Lunden airs a story on the same topic.)

Regarding Beginner’s Luck, I’d like to think The Alchemist has it right…

    1. O.M.G. Scott. I am SO SORRY. I just now saw your lovely, lovely comment. I am such an arse. Truly. Please forgive me. I vow never to neglect wordpress again. Amen.
To answer your questions, and thank you for asking it, my play failed. Not because it sucked but because I lost my director, who moved to Buffalo. I was unable to replace her in the short time I had. So it was a huge disappointment, but I did what any Phoenix does when it incinerates, I drank heavily and spewed vitriol about the cruel universe.
I’m better now, editing old stuff, working on new stuff, and waiting for the cruel universe to man the fuck up and give me my due! 🙂 (jk. kind of)

      Tell me about you!!

      Love,
      Casey
