About the challenge

The CareTech AI HealthTech Hackathon challenges participants to design and build innovative solutions that apply artificial intelligence to real world healthcare problems. Participants are encouraged to think creatively about how AI can improve patient experiences, healthcare accessibility, medical workflows, or health education.

Projects must be created during the event timeframe. Teams will have the freedom to build prototypes, AI tools, healthcare assistants, or other innovative health focused applications.

The goal of this challenge is to inspire innovation at the intersection of artificial intelligence and healthcare technology while encouraging practical, impactful, and responsible AI development.

Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Form a team (up to 4 members) or participate individually.
  2. Brainstorm a healthcare problem you want to solve using AI.
  3. Set up your development environment and begin building your prototype.
  4. Record a short demo video showcasing your project in action.
  5. Submit your project on Devpost before the submission deadline.

Remember to focus on:

  • Healthcare impact
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Clear demonstration of AI functionality

Requirements

What to Build:

Create a new project that uses AI in a meaningful way to improve healthcare. You can build:

  • AI healthcare assistants
  • Patient education tools
  • Diagnostic support prototypes
  • Mental health or wellness technology
  • Medical workflow automation tools
  • Healthcare data analysis tools
  • Creative or unexpected AI healthcare applications

Your project must be created during the event window.

What to Submit:

Provide a brief summary of: What your project does, the healthcare problem it solves, how AI is used and who benefits from your solution

Code Repository: Submit a public GitHub repository including

  • Source code
  • README explaining: Setup instruction, Tech stack, How to run project, Screenshots if available
