The Difference is in the Details

For almost fifty years, we have been leading in designing and manufacturing custom solutions for loading racks across many of the world’s most successful companies because we took the time to hear their pain points and see their vision of a solution. Our secret has always been that our clients know what they need; we just have to listen.

The process of turning a project into a solution involves several key steps that ensure both clarity and alignment between the client and Carbis. It begins with a detailed consultation where the client’s requirements are thoroughly understood. This typically includes discussions on project scope, specifications, timelines, and budget, which are vital for crafting an accurate proposal or design.

Assessment

Helping You Spot Areas That Most Need Your Attention.

Loading Rack Safety Assessments offer in-depth analysis and insight into whether your equipment is still doing the job that you need it to do.

The equipment that was installed to handle a specific process or loading operation is often less than ideal when servicing new vehicles or new product lines. Whether it is a transition to ISO tainers or an addition of a new line of chemicals, we can help you figure out how to bring your loading rack into line with your current needs.

Whether you need a hazard analysis of a particular spot, or of your entire operation, our team of fall protection specialists can help you to get the most out of your loading rack equipment, increasing safety and throughput.

We will be happy to work with you to spot the areas that most need your attention and help you put together a plan to optimize your operation. We are committed to being your partner as we work together to keep your people safer and your products flowing.

What Were You Hoping We Could Do for You?

That question drives a great deal of our mission with our clients. Our goal is not only to satisfy the basic functionality of fall protection, safety, and throughput within the project scope but also to ensure that our clients walk away from each meeting feeling that their needs are met and even exceeded. By listening to all decision-makers in a process and applying our experience we can find solution options ideal for each client.

In-House
Engineering

From Concept to Creation

Once the project scope and specifications are clearly defined, the design or solution phase begins. Engineers and project managers work to create a design that meets the client’s needs, which may involve detailed planning, drawing, and reviewing.

Our detailers create more precise and detailed solutions and perform virtual testing of components and assemblies. This allows us to identify and resolve potential issues before submitting the finalized drawings to the client for approval.

A Stair is Born

Once a client has sent back approved drawings, the next step is to transition from design to production. The finalized CAD drawings provide a comprehensive blueprint, including dimensions, materials, and assembly instructions. These drawings are then sent to the production team for review and preparation.

In the production facility, the engineering team collaborates with the manufacturing staff to ensure the client’s needs are met. Depending on the complexity of the solution, components may undergo processes such as machining, welding, or molding. Quality control checks are conducted throughout this process to ensure the product meets the client’s standards.

Operators Education – How to Use Your New Tools

Training your team on how to use the new equipment is crucial for ensuring safety, efficiency, and optimal performance. Proper training helps employees become familiar with the equipment’s features, functionality, and potential hazards, reducing the risk of accidents and injuries.

Our team of Carbis trainers will work with your team or in a train-the-trainer environment where your employees can ask questions and receive immediate feedback in a controlled environment, making it easier to address any concerns or misconceptions.

Carbis-led training ensures that it is tailored to the specific equipment and workplace conditions, making it more relevant and effective. This helps to minimize downtime caused by user error, improve productivity, and foster a culture of safety and accountability among employees.

Carbis – The Process IS the Solution You Need!

For almost 50 years, Carbis has been at the forefront of creating custom loading rack solutions by truly understanding our clients’ needs through in-depth consultations. From the initial idea to the final product, we focus on careful planning and close collaboration with our clients. Once the design is finalized, we move on to precise manufacturing, ensuring top-notch quality. Ultimately, our goal is for everyone to go home safely each night.
