SEEC – Centre for Statistics in Ecology, the Environment and Conservation

SEEC is an inter-departmental grouping based at the University of Cape Town, working on statistics in ecology, the environment and conservation. They often use R and have a lot of great meetings and workshops, including a regular monthly work in progress meeting.
