The Tutoring Center is the easiest place to begin if you’re not sure where to go.

Tutoring Center

Get one-on-one help in a wide range of subjects, including math, science, writing, business, IT, languages, and more.

Summer Term:  June 1 – August 6, 2026

Availability of in person and Zoom appointments varies by subject. Please check Navigate for your course subject. We offer tutoring for Summer courses and ALEKS math testing prep during the summer, not Fall 26 course enrollment.

Location: 1st Floor, Building 3, West Barnstable Campus

Format: In-person and Zoom appointments

Session length: 55 minutes

Scheduling: Book through Navigate in My4Cs

Limit: One appointment per subject per week (book up to 3 weeks in advance)

Availability: Appointment times vary by subject (check Navigate)

Additional help: Drop-in centers available if you need more support

Best for: One-on-one help across multiple subjects

Math Learning Center

Get help with math and math-based coursework, including science, business, and health courses.

Location: Room 104, Building 6, West Barnstable Campus

Support: One-on-one and small group help

Staffed by: Learning Specialists and Peer Tutors

Extras: Help with ALEKS placement test prep + computer workspaces available

Summer 2026 In Person Hours: June 1 – August 6, 2026

Monday/Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Tuesday/Thursday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Reading and Writing Resource Center

Get help with writing, reading, and assignments at any stage of the process.

Location: 1st Floor, Building 3, West Barnstable Campus

Support: Writing help, reading support, MLA/APA/Chicago formatting

Environment: Quiet workspace for writing

Summer Term 2026: The Writing Center is closed for the summer. We will reopen on the first day of classes in Fall 2026. For tutoring for Summer coursework, please schedule appointments through Navigate in the Tutoring Center.

Science Study Room

A drop-in space for biology and science support.

Location: Room 124. Building 6, West Barnstable Campus

Support: Peer tutoring and group study

Online Tutoring (Brainfuse)

Availability: 24/7 through Moodle

Includes:

Tech Peer Mentors

Get help with college technology.

Location: 1st Floor, Building 3, West Barnstable Campus

Support: Moodle, Navigate, email, Office 365, Turnitin, file management

Summer 2026 Hours: The Tech Peer Mentors station in Wilkens Library is closed for the summer term.

Summer students needing tech help with their summer courses can schedule a Zoom appointment in the Tutoring Center using Navigate and meet with the professional IT computer tutor. The Tech Peer Mentor Drop-In hours in the library will resume the first day of classes of the Fall 2026 semester. 

Best for: Tech issues or navigating college systems

If tech is slowing you down, this is the fastest place to get help.
