Stories of Independence

"[Noodle has] given me the confidence to ask for help and not be shy about my disability. Together, we meet up with friends and go grocery shopping. Without him, I would be homebound. He helps me carry the load of living as a quadruple amputee.”
Evan, an 8-year-old with cerebral palsy and autism, found independence and confidence thanks to Kalvin, a service dog who helps him overcome daily challenges.
Thanks to service dog Abby's attentiveness, Hayden doesn't miss sounds like his wife calling his name or visitors knocking on the front door. "Abby helps me notice the world around me," Hayden shares. "She gives me a level of independence I didn't even realize I was missing."
