Campus VFX isn’t just a school, it’s a place for artists who are ready to turn their creativity into a career.
Campus VFX was founded in 2006 as Lost Boys School of VFX, building on creative roots that stretch back to the original Lost Boys Studio in 1997. From the beginning, the mission was to offer training that reflected the realities of post-production not just in-class theory, but hands-on, studio-relevant skills. In 2014, we started to offer full-time specialized programs in Advanced Compositing and FX TD. We were the first school to offer focused programs in these areas. 2018, Campus VFX expanded to Montreal, bringing the same personalized, professional training to the heart of Quebec’s VFX industry.
Now all under one name Campus VFX – Canada’s School of VFX, and under new ownership, we carry forward the strengths of our legacy while evolving with a renewed focus on mentorship, integrity, and student success.
Our commitment is stronger than ever to deliver elite, industry-driven training with heart, purpose, and the highest standards
We’re one of the few schools in North America that integrates industry methodologies and workflows directly into our teaching. We’re proud to have been, the first school in the world to offer focused, intensive training in Compositing (Nuke), FX (Houdini), and Lighting (Katana) long before these became standard in VFX education.
While other schools have followed, Campus VFX continues to lead with purpose-built, studio-driven programs that evolve alongside the industry. We are always evolving and developing new programs to meet the needs of the industry.
