Overview

Pleasure to meet you! I'm Margaret Black, the Program Coordinator for the Emerging Workforce at the Hampton Roads Workforce Council. I attended Christopher Newport University and was drawn to the variety that Hampton Roads has to offer. Since I graduated, it has been my mission to support and encourage students as they pursue their own career goals. I truly believe that we should be fulfilled and inspired by our jobs. I also believe it takes time to figure out what your passion is! My team and I enjoy helping students find their purpose in the 757! Your place is HERE!

Whitney Lester, Senior Director of Talent Development

Overview

Greetings, and thank you for visiting Campus757. I’m Whitney, the Sr. Director of Talent for the Hampton Roads Workforce Council. I’m pleased to say that Campus757 was the first true talent initiative launched in this new division of the Council. Prior to my tenure here, I was a longtime HRWC Board member while creating jobs for people with disabilities at VersAbility Resources in Hampton. The 757 has so many assets, both natural and people-driven, and we hope to be the conduit for college students and anyone else to soak them all in for many years to come.
