911 Computer Aided Dispatch - CAD
Caliber's 911 CAD software is the industry leader in bi-directional CAD-to-CAD data sharing. We help agencies share incidents and resources for quicker and safer dispatching.
Connected 911 CAD to make your jobs easier
Caliber CAD NG is a computer aided dispatch software built for real 911 work. It ties into the tools you already use, like RMS, GIS, call‑taker assistants, and body cameras.
WebCAD gives you browser access for remote call entry, live unit status, and ESRI maps. AVL shows where units are and recommends the best response, while priors, BOLOs, premise notes, and response plans appear when needed.
We are the leader in bi‑directional CAD‑to‑CAD data sharing, so dispatch centers can exchange incidents and resources in real-time. Dispatchers can run NCIC through embedded CJIS, send auto notifications by text or email, and keep everyone informed. If you need 911 CAD software that is simple to learn and easy to deploy, Caliber fits your shift.

Cloud-Hosted CAD
Caliber hosts CAD NG servers and databases in the Caliber Public Safety Cloud, allowing agencies to install the CAD workstation software on local hardware, and leaving all the complicated server-side of the solution to Caliber’s cloud technicians.
Workstation updates are automatically downloaded and applied as they are released, reducing maintenance windows and IT strain. Your center benefits from FIPS 140-2 NIST-compliant encryption, compliance programs, fully redundant power and network, and secure off-site disaster recovery between redundant data centers. As a strategic partner with Nlets since 2008, we deliver a secure and reliable environment that helps dispatchers focus on the call, not the infrastructure.

The Power of Collaborative Information Sharing
In Stone County, MS, an incident occurred that underscored the critical importance of information sharing among agencies. While supporting the night shift, dispatchers received a Domestic Dispute call. They faced an unexpected obstacle: the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) was temporarily down for maintenance, hindering their access to essential background information.
Fortunately, dispatchers received alerts from Caliber CADNG indicating that both subjects involved in the dispute were possibly wanted in Harrison County, MS. A prompt call to Harrison County confirmed active warrants for both individuals.
This event highlights the effectiveness of Caliber InterDEx and the power of collaborative information sharing, demonstrating the ability to access vital data even when NCIC is unavailable.
Browser-based application that allows you to create Calls For Service and view CAD data remotely.
The flexible design of Caliber CAD NG allows us to support many existing interfaces to 3rd party public safety systems.
WebCAD
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Authorized Users can simply launch WebCAD in their internet browser and start collecting call information from anywhere! Short on staff or need to limit employees on site? WebCAD allows your agency to leverage staff from other departments such as Records or Administration to collect call information.
Our interactive ESRI based Map even allows Users to configure and display any publicly available layers from ESRI’s ArcGIS. Layers such as Weather Radar, COVID-19 cases, or even information on hospital bed utilization.

FirstAlert
FirstAlert is an always-on “panic button” that offers faster emergency response at schools, universities, hospitals, government buildings, and more. By automatically creating an incident in CAD, FirstAlert can save First Responders minutes when being dispatched to an emergency event.
Easy to deploy and use: First Alert is intuitive and deployment is simple, fast, and painless.
FirstAlert can be configured to meet your needs: Supports geo-fencing, texting, emailing, and CAD integration as a voice-free way of communicating with emergency responders when seconds count.
KEY FEATURES
Integrates directly into existing Cailber CAD NG or can be deployed as a stand-alone solution
No Call 9-1-1: Requests help without having to call 9-1-1
Available One-Touch Dispatching
Continued communication with 9-1-1 Centers during an incident, including 2-way chat within the application
Application integration allows 9-1-1 Centers to manage without third-party solutions
Interfaces
The flexible design of Caliber CAD NG allows us to support many existing interfaces to 3rd party public safety systems. Our CAD solution was designed around industry standards and best practices, allowing us to quickly implement new interfaces as they are requested.
We offer interfaces for all kinds of different solution types, ensuring you’re able to get the most out of the technology that you have invested in. Some examples of available interfaces include:
- Call-Taker Assistant applications (911 Adviser, ProQA, CACH etc.)
- Law/Fire/EMS Records Management applications
- Fire Station Alerting (CADVoice, Mach Alert, etc.)
- Body cameras (Body Worn, Axon, etc.)
- Mapping/GIS Applications (WTH, Pictometry, etc.)
- …and many more
Bi-Directional Interface
Data flows between CAD NG and the 3rd-party application based on actions performed in either application.
One-Way/Export Interface
XSLT is required; XSLT will transform XML data into a specified format and/or structure.
Standard XML Interface
One-way export of data that does not require XSLT or custom code; data is exported in XML format based upon a defined set of rules and is then made available to other applications
