Publisher Description
Add the danger rose widget to your home screen and quickly see the current avalanche danger forecast by the Colorado Avalanche Information Center (CAIC). Add a widget for the zone you live in or add all ten forecast zones. The widget automatically updates to the latest danger rose. Tap on the rose to load the full forecast for that zone in your browser.
This is a 1x1 widget only. After installing long press (press and hold) on the home screen. When the popup dialog opens select Widgets -> CAIC Danger Rose. You will then see a pull down menu to select the zone.
Supported zones are:
- Steamboat and Flat Tops
- Front Range
- Vail & Summit County
- Sawatch Range
- Aspen
- Gunnison
- Grand Mesa
- Northern San Juan
- Southern San Juan
- Sangre de Cristo
Always check the full forecast before heading into the back country. Don't travel alone and always carry avalanche safety equipment.
