The California Apartment Association supports and defends the rental housing industry in California. It works to create conditions that help property owners succeed, including supporting political candidates and policies that benefit rental housing. This helps ensure tenants have access to safe, well-maintained, and stable housing. Donations support efforts to protect property owners’ rights and keep quality housing available.

State and Local Ballot Measures

This CAA-sponsored committee supports ballot measures that help housing providers offer rental housing and opposes those that could limit their ability to do so.

It does not contribute to candidates or elected officials. Donations are reported to the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) and are not tax deductible.
