A Sound from the Past, Alive in the Present

The Byrd Theatre boasts a unique auditory experience: The Mighty WurliTzer Organ.
This historic instrument, original to the Theatre’s opening in 1928, isn’t just a decorative relic. Played by a skilled organist before most movies (excluding sensory-friendly screenings), the Wurlitzer adds a captivating layer to the filmgoing experience.
