MSI BurnRecovery is a system utility that helps owners of MSI laptops and desktops create and manage recovery media. It captures the factory-installed Windows image—along with MSI-provided drivers and applications—from the built-in recovery partition and writes it to a bootable USB drive, a set of DVDs, or an ISO file. If your operating system becomes corrupted or you replace the storage drive, you can use this media to restore the machine to its original factory state.

The software guides you through a step-by-step wizard, checks available capacity, verifies written data, and prepares the target USB drive as needed. BurnRecovery is designed specifically for MSI systems that still have the original factory image and may not function on non-MSI or modified installations. Administrator privileges and sufficient free space are required, and creating recovery media will erase the selected USB drive.
