Hiei has a few neat mind powers thanks to that third eye in the middle of his forehead, but they can get pretty godmode and might not work on everyone, so I'd appreciate it if everyone could answer a few questions.

1) Can Hiei read your mind? How deeply? Unlike some YYH telepaths, characters have worried about Hiei reading their minds to find out things they've done, although he probably won't do it unless you catch his interest.

2) Can Hiei remotely spy on you?

3) Can Hiei erase your memories? This will only be done at request or as part of a plot, so this is just for anyone who would be outright immune.

4) Can Hiei control your mind? In canon, this won't work on anyone with a strong will, and other psychics are likely immune as well.

He can also sense and identify spirit or demon energy, so please mention if your character is human, demon, or something completely different.

This is moronic. These dreams, they're obviously fake. I'm just glad it's almost over so you people will stop whining.

*Despite his words, Hiei's voice is noticeably shaken and on edge.*

*The PCD clicks on from Hiei's waistband, showing nothing but a single gravestone marked Yukina. From behind, Hiei snarls and a blade flashes into view for a split second, leaving a deep gash in the ground in front of the stone and then the entire scene vanishes into a blur. Seconds later, the camera refocuses on Hiei, with the background still moving too fast for the camera to record.*

I'll be in the wastelands. Don't come looking for me if you value your skin.

*From the sounds of cloth rustling, the PCD seems to be recording from someone's pocket. At first, that's the only sound that's heard, until Hiei scoffs at something.*

The great Spirit Detective, killed in a car accident? I wonder, is that how it really happened, or are they just making the first one up?

*Hiei is sitting inside what used to be Kurama's house today, with an oddly morose expression on his face. When he speaks, his tone is even and tinted with sadness.*

To those who knew him, Kuwabara has gone home. I'm sure he had many friends here, and I apologize for your loss.

*When the PCD comes on, the camera is partially covered by something, but enough of the room is still visible to identify it as the inside of one of the treepods. Leaning against a wall with a smile that looks unnatural even to those who don't know him is Hiei, knee raised to prop his sword on it. The careful observer will note that his eyes are repeatedly darting between all possible points of entry or observation, in a clear sign that visitors are not welcome.*

*Good morning, Adstringendum. Today you'll be greeted by an angry looking teenage boy with red eyes, looking about ready to kill something. He's missing his shirt and, for now, carefully keeping his lower half hidden.*

I don't know what's happening here, but whoever is responsible for all of this has ten seconds to reveal themselves and maybe I'll kill them quickly. I have much more important things to do than hover around some submerged city filled with humans and indulge your sick game, and I assure you, I am more than capable of hunting you down and making you regret ever setting eyes on me, even in this state. Make it easy on yourself and surrender now, while I'm giving you the chance.

*Just as he's about to end the feed, he jerks and the lower half of his body can be seen, legs replaced by the tail of a dragonfish.*
