Illegal Migrant Children from El Paso, Texas Arrive in Erie,PA – More Children are Expected to Follow
The children — 146 girls — arrived at the Erie International Airport around 9 p.m. on a direct, 3-hour flight from El Paso, Texas.
The Boeing 737 — a government-contracted flight — taxied to nearby North Coast Air, where the children deboarded onto three buses bound for a dormitory at the Pennsylvania International Academy in Summit Township.
Trish Danner, spokesperson for the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services said that the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services may eventually contract local teachers to instruct English, geography, and math for the children.

Congressman Steve Scalise sustained a single rifle shot to the left hip. The bullet travelled across his pelvis, fracturing bones, injuring internal organs, and causing severe bleeding. He was transported in shock to MedStar Washington Hospital Center, a Level I Trauma Center. He underwent immediate surgery, and an additional procedure to stop bleeding. He has received multiple units of blood transfusion. His condition is critical, and he will require additional operations. We will provide periodic updates.
