NY Times Celebrates Communist Mao Zedong as “One of History’s Great Revolutionary Figures”

One can only wonder at the fascination so many have with so many murdering dictators. Mao’s birthday was yesterday. Guess what. A NY Times reporter apparently had it on their calendar. Lucky us.

The New York Times honored mass murdering communist tyrant Mao Zedong yesteray as “One of History’s Great Revolutionary Figures.”

This was posted on the New York Times archives Twitter account.

On second thought, maybe forgetting that 50 or 60 million dead occurred during his regime wasn’t the best idea…

Just more fake news.

A comment:

Bear in mind that the New York Times got a fake Pulitzer prize in the 1930s for covering up the 6 million Ukrainian middle class farmers starved to death by Stalin. The failing New York Times also completely fraudulently misrepresented Fidel Castro and his intentions with endless Communist propaganda before he seized power.

But then again, the National Education Association had the “birth”of China on their calendar –

NEA: Let’s celebrate communism!

Teachers’ union promotes Mao’s launch of ‘People’s Republic’

The National Education Association is suggesting its teachers and NEA-connected schools celebrate China on the anniversary of the repressive communist regime’s violent founding.

The NEA’s website has a page called Diversity Events and lists Oct. 1 as the day to celebrate Chairman Mao’s successful revolution.

University of North Carolina-Wilmington Criminal Justice professor Mike Adams says the NEA’s position is borne out of intellectual arrogance.

“Well, the next thing you know they’ll be celebrating the birth of Nazi Germany, but certainly that would be anti-climactic, because communist China has killed more people than Nazi Germany,” Adams said.

“I think the only one way to describe the arrogant hubris of these pseudo-intellectuals is that they’re ‘holier than thou,’” Adams said.

It too was reported that this event was later removed from the calendar.

Obama celebrates 60 years of Chinese Rule- Millions Slaughtered

The astounding image of the building’s top aglow in red and yellow to commemorate the birth of Red China. Yes, unbelievably, the Empire State last October paused to recognize Mao’s communist China, which was responsible for 60-70 million deaths, the single greatest slaughter of humanity in history, dwarfing Hitler’s terror by six-fold.

The Empire State Building in New York City will glow red and yellow Wednesday night to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China.  “What’s next, Marx, Lenin and Trotsky’s birthday’s too?” one blogger wrote.

“What about Allah while we’re honoring our enemies under the ‘Commie Obammie’ administration?” Another: “While we’re at it, let’s light up the Rockefellor Center with a big swastika on red lights?”

Others blamed the ESB’s color scheme on President Obama: “I thought by ‘change’ that President Obama meant socialized healthcare, higher taxes, and a bloated nanny-state there to take care of my every need. But not this!”

Other than that, all is well in the swamp.

Feds funds utility pole dancing for linemen

I could not bring myself to do a post on the Benghazi hearing held yesterday. There are better bloggers out there who can give you all of the info.  But let me give you this knock out post instead. This may even be more reflective of our most bizarre government that has gone adrift.

An Austin, Texas dance company has received a $10,000 National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) grant for its upcoming performance featuring electricity linemen dancing on utility poles.

A grand civic spectacle featuring Austin’s public power workers—50+ linemen, bucket trucks, 20+ utility poles, and a live orchestra.

In 2009 and again in 2011 I directed the The Trash Project—a massive dance for the employees and vehicles of Austin’s sanitation department. This was the biggest dance of my life, and since its premier I have been searching for what my next project could be. I’ve decided that all I can do is…go UP!

Video over at CNS News

According to the description of “PowerUP!” by Forklift Danceworks on the Kickstarter fundraising website, “This dance will be a massive outdoor production—a set of 20 utility poles, bucket trucks weaving in and out, cranes extending 100+ feet into the air, and 50+ linemen climbing and performing aesthetically sculpted choreography that intertwines their physical work —high wire repairs, fixing electrical grids, and responding to power emergencies—with personal narratives of the long process it takes to become an expert at the job.”

“This is the third in a series of large-scale civic spectacles and will include original music by Graham Reynolds performed by the Austin Symphony and led by conductor Peter Bay, and feature 75 employees performing on 35-foot utility poles and ten bucket trucks and cranes,” the April, 23 NEA grant announcement says.

Teachers unions cash in at expense of food stamp recipients

Democrats, teachers to poors: Let them eat whatever they can find

At only $26 billion, America’s teachers are set to receive the cheapest bailout yet in the race to pillage America’s future before it ever happens.

Odd thing, though: When Republicans proposed to offset said extension with unused stimulus, Democrats ran to the press and said, “Mommy, mommy, the Repubwicans hate pwah people,” then held up the bill. Now the Democrats are all set to literally take food from the mouths of America’s homeless youth in order to keep teachers’ unions voting “D” in the midterms? Demoncrats: Redefining cynicism for the 21st century.

So you are rounding up the House members to come back to congress for this?

The pending House bill, which also includes $16 billion for Medicaid programs in the states, includes no requirements that school districts balance their budgets or report on whether the money is making a measurable effect in the classroom. Support for the bill has mainly been driven by the Federation for American Teachers, the largest group that represents teachers’ interests, which has donated more than $1.7 million to Democrats in 2010.

“It’s a wheel barrel of cash,” said Hess, adding that the infusion of money into the districts could only make it harder on local leaders to fix their budgets.

The Senate last week passed their own version of the bill, which cuts $12 billion beginning in 2014 from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance, or “food stamps,” program to help make the measure deficit neutral. Anti-hunger advocates and conservatives alike decried the move.

“We’re taking money from feeding poor kids so middle class teachers don’t have to look for jobs,” said Frederick M. Hess, director of the Education Policy Studies at the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative think tank.

National Education Association Orders Members to Read Communist Guide Book

The National Education Association (NEA) is the premier teachers union group in the country. Recall how the NEA wanted to School kids to honor Red China and Mao in October? NEA-Lets remember Communism

Read here  The outrage made them remove it from their Calendar. The March continues. They are not done yet.

Here is how they describe Alinsky’s books:

NEA recommends the following Saul Alinsky books to those members of our Association who are involved in grassroots organizing, especially Association Representatives (ARs) — also known as building reps or shop stewards — and leaders at local affiliates.

Saul Alinsky is widely recognized as the father of, and pre-imminent expert in, grassroots organizing, which is why we recommend that ARs and local leaders become familiar with his theories & materials.

Saul Alinsky is also “widely recognized” as a communist sympathizer, socialist theorist, and left-wing radical. I guess the NEA “forgot” to mention that, eh?

A look at the NEA website reveals a shocking recommendation to its members. The union that represents the teachers that we send our children to every school day suggests that its members read the communist-like manifesto of famed left-wing agitator Saul Alinsky.

That’s right, the NEA wants its members, America’s teachers, to become programmed by the ideas and policy prescriptions in a communist manifesto.

And while making the recommendation, the NEA also absent-mindedly seems to forget that Alinsky was an avowed socialist that wanted to remake America from a representative democracy into a communist state.

The left-wing tracking site DiscoverTheNetworks.org reminds us of what else Alinsky “widely recognized” for:

Alinsky’s brand of revolution was not characterized by dramatic, sweeping, overnight transformations of social institutions. As Richard Poe puts it, “Alinsky viewed revolution as a slow, patient process. The trick was to penetrate existing institutions such as churches, unions and political parties.” He advised organizers and their disciples to quietly, subtly gain influence within the decision-making ranks of these institutions, and to introduce changes from that platform.”

THIS is the un-American agitator that the nation’s largest teachers union wants to expose the teachers we send our kids to, folks. This is why these unions need to be defeated.

Teachers’ union promotes Mao’s launch of ‘People’s Republic’

We are in a sad place in our democracy. While I often find Glenn Beck too far near the third rail for my comfort zone, I must admit his coverage of the Agenda of infiltrating our educational system is oh, so true. Here we go from a story at World Net Daily:

The Whitehouse Artists from Government Funded NEA Pushing Obama’s Agenda

Fox News

“….The White House convened a meeting of 60 artists to help push the president’s domestic agenda in May, months before a controversial conference call with artists in August led to the reassignment and, on Thursday, the resignation of the communications director of the National Endowment for the Arts.

“In what some critics are calling a “troubling” early effort by the Obama administration to politicize the NEA, rappers, dancers, writers and other activists from around the country were invited to a May 12 session next door to the White House, where they were “challenged to come up with promising and attractive ideas about how artists can work for the administration’s agenda,” according to a report written by organizers of the meeting.

“An NEA official in charge of grants for performing artists was in attendance, as was the organization’s former chief spokesman, Yosi Sergant, who was reassigned last month after he led a similar conference call with 75 artists and urged them to promote Obama’s policies. The NEA announced Thursday that he had resigned.
