Obama defies judge over Seal Team plane crash documents

Once again, the administration defies a judge. The judge apparently isn’t very upset as to date. Why so many Seals would be in one plane never made sense. So here we go:

The Obama administration is violating a judge’s order to turn over documents in the Aug. 6, 2011, shootdown of a U.S. helicopter — call sign Extortion 17 — that killed members of SEAL Team 6 in Afghanistan, a watchdog group is charging.

On the fourth anniversary of the worst one-day loss of military life in the war on terror, families of the dead say they are aghast that the government will not honor basic requests under the Freedom of Information Act.

“It has now been four years since Extortion 17 was shot down,” said Doug Hamburger, whose Army air crew son, Patrick, was one of the 30 Americans killed. “I find it quite disturbing that the government is not willing to give us the answers we deserve. I find it very irritating that we will not question the Afghans about their knowledge of what took place that night.”

U.S. District Judge Richard J. Leon in February signed an order requiring the Obama administration to release documents on a continual basis through the spring and summer. The Justice Department said at least 50 documents in the Pentagon have been identified as relevant, but only one has been turned over. And Justice unilaterally set a new deadline for the release and then ignored it, Mr. Klayman said. Throughout, he said, Justice lawyers have refused to take his phone calls.

“They don’t even produce under their own self-imposed deadline,” Mr. Klayman told The Washington Times. “We’re pleading with the judge to do something, and he’s just sitting on it.”

Navy Seals court martialed for giving Terrorist leader a bloody lip

We know what the Obama regime has been doing to our military leaders. Obama gets rid of more Generals.

One by one, eliminating any of them who apparently don’t sing from the same song book. The latest attack on these brave Navy Seals tell us all we need to know. Now demoralizing our finest fighting men.

Navy SEALs, Matthew McCabe,  and Jonathan Keefe caught one of the Al-Qaeda killers who brutally murdered 4 American contractors in 2004. The Navy SEALs reward? Court martial…

On the one hand, four Blackwater contractors were murdered and beheaded as they pulled security in a convoy that was attempting to deliver food.

On the other hand, Al-Isawi had a small cut on his lip that a doctor would later testify appeared to have been self-inflicted.

Matthew McCabe Navy Seal

Via NY Post:

The night of Sept. 1, 2009, Echo Platoon of Navy SEAL Team 10 headed out into the Fallujah night. Their goal: concluding a five-year search for the al Qaeda killer who had been responsible for the shocking 2004 murders of four American military contractors — one of them an ex-SEAL — whose bodies were then burned, dragged through the streets and hanged from a bridge.

This night the SEALs departed with these words from their commanding officer: “Gents, stay sharp, and expect a firefight.”

In the event, no shots were fired, but the SEALs faced another kind of ambush: a humiliating, baffling, infuriating struggle with the military-justice system that would end with an unsatisfying victory.

Because the man those SEALs captured — Ahmad Hashim Abd Al-Isawi, aka “the Butcher of Fallujah,” a man who lived for mayhem — somehow sustained a bloody lip on the night of his capture.

Navy SEALS ordered to remove Navy Jack patch from uniforms

Of course we know why they are doing this don’t we? Anyone who might stand in the way of this regime is a danger to it. Even a hint of a reminder. I find it particularly offensive when this regime goes after those who are willing to go to the front lines and give their blood for our country.  Why is the flag being removed?  “The Jack is too closely associated with radical groups.” We must assume that  this thought policeman embedded in the SEAL community is speaking of the Tea  Party, whose flag (which also dates from the American Revolution) depicts a  snake with the same defiant slogan as The Navy Jack. Recall this earlier post: We know of the indoctrination at our Academies:

West Point Think Tank warns of dangerous “Conservatives”

The report issued this week by the Combating Terrorism Center at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., is titled “Challengers from the Sidelines: Understanding America’s Violent Far-Right.” And just who are these “Violent Far-Right” folks?

It says anti-federalists “espouse strong convictions regarding the federal government, believing it to be corrupt and tyrannical, with a natural tendency to intrude on individuals’ civil and constitutional rights. Finally, they support civil activism, individual freedoms, and self-government. Extremists in the anti-federalist movement direct most their violence against the federal government and its proxies in law enforcement.”

The report also draws a link between the mainstream conservative movement and the violent “far right,” and describes liberals as “future oriented” and conservatives as living in the past.

“The far right represents a more extreme version of conservatism, as its political vision is usually justified by the aspiration to restore or preserve values and practices that are part of the idealized historical heritage of the nation or ethnic community.”

The Navy Jack is the ‘don’t tread on me’  flag, one that has earned a revered place in America’s naval history and a  beloved place in sailor’s hearts, through its use for over two centuries. This  symbol of America’s naval ferocity has spanned our country’s entire existence,  flying from the masts of the Continental Navy during the war of independence, to  today’s War on Terror. In fact, an amendment to the Navy code called SECNAV Instruction 10520.6 clearly  states that as of 31 May 2002 all ships are to fly the flag throughout the  duration of the War on Terror.

So why would ranking SEAL commanders ban the historical symbol? Is the  proverbial top bass banning the flag? Is President Obama?

Clearly the administration and sycophant “top brass” officers have degraded  America’s military prestige; from hand-tying rules of engagement, to uniform  regulations that make our military allegedly more compatible with foreign  forces, to the banning of an awe-inspiring flag that traces its roots to the  first U.S. Navy. We have a civilian-led military, but why should our ranking  commanders be complicit in the administration’s war on it? Why don’t they stand  up to Obama and his leftist cronies?

When a friend of mine asked his leadership the same question, he was told,  “The Jack is too closely associated with radical groups.” We must assume that  this thought policeman embedded in the SEAL community is speaking of the Tea  Party, whose flag (which also dates from the American Revolution) depicts a  snake with the same defiant slogan as The Navy Jack.

This begs yet another question: Who defines “radical group”? The last time I  checked, all military personnel are under oath to “support and  defend the constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” The Tea  Party stands for constitutional rights and founding principles of civil  liberties and limited government. Radical? Not unless you’re a leftist hell-bent  on destroying the foundations of our country. Or as the President has stated as  the objective of his presidency, “to fundamentally transform” America.

Navy Seals who killed Bin Laden are angry with Obama

No surprise here is there. Of course we lost intelligence by coming out with the story right away. But Obama just couldn’t wait to take credit. Here we go:

The men who killed the al-Qaeda chief have decided to speak out because they are tired of their “shabby treatment” by politicians who claim they were on a “kill mission.”

They insisted there was no lengthy gun-fight in the compound and claimed they would have captured Bin Laden if he had surrendered, The Sunday Times in the UK reports (behind a paywall).

The details of the mission, which was codenamed Operation Neptune’s Spear, are revealed in a book by the Seals’ former commander, Chuck Pfarrer.

“I’ve been a Seal for 30 years and I never heard the words ‘kill mission’. It’s a fantasy word. If it was a kill mission you don’t need Seal Team 6; you need a box of hand grenades.”

He said the men were angry with President Barack Obama for announcing Bin Laden’s death on TV just hours after they completed the mission on May 1.

“There isn’t a politician in the world who could resist trying to take credit for getting Bin Laden but it devalued the ‘intel’ and gave time for every other Al-Qaeda leader to scurry to another bolthole,” he said.

“The men who did this and their valorous act deserve better. It’s a pretty shabby way to treat these guys.” Full story below:
