Sherrod declines USDA job offer

Shirley Sherrod has declined a job offer from Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.

I know our regular readers will probably be tickled pink that the story is that there is no story… you see.. I have been beating on this story for evah~~! just in case you have any interest.. go up in the right hand corner in Bunkerville under search and type in Sherrod. See– I didn’t even include the links!! Apparently she didn’t get the job of giving away billions of dollars.

Shirley Sherrod said Tuesday that she has enjoyed her work at the U.S. Department of Agriculture and “would want to see that work continue.”

But she add, “I just don’t think at this point with all that has happened” that it is possible to continue working at the department. “It doesn’t mean I’m not interested in that work, because I am,” she said.

She said she needs to “take a break” from the events of the past few weeks, but looks forward to “some type of relationship with the department in the future.” (In other words– I am not sure who or when I am going to sue)

“We need to work on issues (of) discrimination and racism in this country, and I’d certainly like to play my role,” Sherrod added. Oh, please do a search in the little box in Bunkerville “sherrod”!! I so much want to share!

Shirley Sherrod Too Toxic for Sunday Talk Shows

Over at Big Government, the comment that Shirley doesn’t advance “their Agenda “I would agree. However, she is potentially toxic as hell. If the full scope of the Court action and Billions of dollars in Black reparations come to light, of which she played a major part, indeed, Americans would be incensed. Congress is set to give away another 1.5 Billion to Black Farmers. More Black farmers than apparently even existed. But looks like the Conservatives are afraid to touch the Story. Too bad Breitbart.

And just so you know where the Sherrods are coming from: When their daughter was born in 1967, while America was at war with communist North Vietnam, Charles and Shirley named their baby girl Russia — “with love,” no doubt. Read the rest at Riehl World View.

She made big bucks in the Lawsuit with her group called New Communities this is the largest award so far in the minority farmers law suit (Pigford vs Vilsack)

This must-read story at Illinois Review and The Washington Examiner also reveals that Ms. Sherrod’s husband is a former honcho in the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee back in the 1960’s.

Considering the Shirley Sherrod interview barrage that took place last Thursday, to not see Sherrod on television Sunday morning sends a clear signal the mainstream media no longer feels allowing the public to get to know the real Shirley Sherrod advances their agenda.

Last week, Charles Krauthammer pointed out that while Sgt. Crowley got a beer summit after Obama merely (and mistakenly) said he “acted stupidly,” Shirley Sherrod got just a seven-minute phone call after she was forced to resign.  The White House and the Obama Administration who hastily relieved her of her position were already keeping her at arms length, and now the mainstream media is too.
