Bugtopia is a strategy and management game in which your objective is to get a colony of insects, whose lives depends on an air purifier, to prosper, allowing them to filter the harmful gases that surround them. Luckily, your insect colony can count on the help of Alice, a little girl who will always be there to lend a hand.

Manage your base of operations

The way Bugtopia works will be familiar to you if you have played any Android management game. Essentially, your objective is to complete missions one by one, to receive the respective rewards, and advance in the game's main story. These missions usually consist of discovering new locations on the map or leveling up some of your structures. Among the most important buildings are the purifier itself, which the other buildings depend on, and the water tanks.

Amass resources to grow and prosper

In Bugtopia there are three main types of resources, which you will need in order to construct almost all your buildings and level up your characters. These resources are mushrooms, water and diamonds. As you progress through the game's story, you can increase your maximum reserves of all these resources. You can also buy resource packs through microtransactions, which will allow you to speed up your progress in the game.

Automatic turn-based combat

Sometimes you will need to fight to solve your problems. Fortunately, you will have a handful of heroes at your disposal who are ready for action. At the beginning of the game you will only have the help of Boggie, a mosquito with a very bad temper, but as you play you will be able to add new heroes to your collection. Thanks to the gacha system, you can recruit more than twenty different characters, each with their own characteristics and special attacks.
