Amy Scherer
With a last name of Scherer–pronounced SHEER, which means scissors in German, Amy along with two of her siblings were destined to be hairstylists. A native of South Dakota, mother of three and wife of a musician, Amy–owner of B Sharp–has explored several careers including college English teacher, photographer, homeschooler, and most recently hairstylist for the last 8 years and salon owner since 2022.
A dedication to continuing education has led to countless hours spent in classes, including many held at her barbershop salon. Her passion for cutting and styling men’s hair has led her to B Sharp Cut Co. She provides a stylish cut, quality products, and hospitable environment that keep clients coming back.
When not working, she enjoys time with friends and family as well as being out in the Black Hills hiking, paddle boarding and taking photos.
She looks forward to helping you B Sharp!

Emily
Emily has been a licensed stylist for over 12 years with 22 years total experience doing proms, weddings and haircuts for friends and family. She has worked in both New York and South Dakota, owned 2 salons and has worked in environments that specialize in men’s hair. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, crafting and refurbishing old furniture. Book your appointment with Emily today!
Ella
Please welcome our barber Ella! A young woman of many talents and passions, this graduate of South Dakota Barber College loves to sing, play guitar, craft, and hike in the beautiful Black Hills. Most importantly, Ella is passionate about giving a good experience when cutting hair, grooming beards and shaving–this comes from her love of meeting new people and boosting their confidence with their new look. We’ve seen her in action and she’s a perfectionist when it comes to hair!
Tony
Tony moved to Rapid City in 2023 from Atascadero, CA. He worked as a lineman, freight conductor for the railroad and a metal fabricator/welder before deciding to become a barber. He and his wife have been together for 24 years and have an incredible daughter named Paisley.
Barbering has always had a special place in his life and he is excited to be a part of the B Sharp family. He feels his style and passion go hand in hand with the B Sharp Cut Co culture.

Amber
Originally from North Dakota, Amber discovered her love for travel early, which led her to chasing adventure and good vibes. She bartended her way through new places until she landed in the Black Hills where she knew she was home. She traded her bar key for clippers and a straight razor, bringing that same passion for connection, conversation and creativity to the barber chair. She is all about fresh cuts, clean shaves, and helping her clients walk out feeling their best.
When not cutting hair she enjoys the outdoors, jamming to good tunes and soaking up time with the people she loves.

Lindsey
Lindsey graduated from Paul Mitchell and has been a licensed stylist since 2021. She has always had a passion for men’s cuts and loves cultivating new relationships while delivering the precise haircut to fit their personality and style.
Lindsey was born and raised in Sturgis and spent two years in Sioux Falls where she met her husband. They have two dogs, Benadryl and Botox.
Along with being a hairstylist, Lindsey is a licensed insurance agent.

Carissa
Carissa is a graduate from Paul Mitchell and a licensed stylist since 2023. She has a passion for men’s cuts and styles, specifically fades, scissor cuts, beard grooming and waxing.
Carissa is the newest addition to the B Sharp Cut Co family and looks forward to building her client base.

PAIGE
Please welcome Paige to the B Sharp Team! Paige is a graduate of The Salon Professional Academy in Rapid City and has been doing hair since 2024.
Coming from a military family, Paige has lived in every time zone, with South Dakota being her home for the last 4 years. She enjoyed playing with hair as a young child so Cosmetology school seemed like a logical career choice. She especially enjoys military style fades and all aspects of men’s hair. In her free time, Paige enjoys doing artwork.
Paige will be a Salon Assistant/Stylist-in-Training! Watch for her on the books in a couple months.
