About BSEM

We are a Professional Community promoting Personalised Medicine

For over 40 years BSEM has brought Ecological principles into mainstream medicine

Who We Are

We are a growing community of doctors, allied healthcare professionals, students and researchers committed to identifying the root causes of modern disease and treating patient health safely and effectively.

Ecological Medicine addresses the interactions between the individual, their environment and their health. BSEM has made major contributions toward the integration of ecological medicine into mainstream medicine over its 40 year history.

We have grown to become the largest UK organisation of doctors and other health practitioners specialising in Ecological Medicine in the UK.

Join the BSEM community and share our clinical experience and expertise, and promote knowledge and skills for the benefit of our patients and the public.

Our Mission

As healthcare professionals face the ongoing rise and evolving patterns of disease, BSEM’s mission has never been more critical: to educate and empower the next generation of practitioners to address these challenges.

By creating a supportive community for doctors and other health professionals who use the principles of Ecological Medicine in their practices.

By providing regular training events and courses to educate and inform doctors and other health professionals.

By promoting research into the field of Ecological Medicine for the benefit of our patients and the public

By raising awareness of Ecological Medicine and
educating the public.
