How to submit a record

Single records or ad hoc recording: The BSBI welcomes records of plants growing in the wild in Britain and Ireland. For ad hoc records, you can use the BSBI's own Recording App, or you might find you prefer to use the iRecord website or the iRecord app, if you are already using them for recording other species.

Multiple records: If you want to submit more than one record, please use the BSBI's own Recording App. If you have a large data set or are unable to use the BSBI Recording App, you can also send them directly to your Vice-County Recorder. Email your Vice-County Recorder to ask in what format they would like to receive your records - some prefer a spreadsheet, some like emails with photos attached etc.

The BSBI Recording App is brilliant: it's always with me wherever I go. It's very quick and easy to use, makes recording fun and makes transferring records much simpler.
