The procedure is commonly described as uncomfortable rather than outright painful, owing to the pigment's shallower penetration compared to traditional tattoos. Upon initial application, your semi-permanent tattoo may manifest with a deeper tone, yet its true color will reveal itself as the healing progresses. It's normal to encounter slight swelling, which generally diminishes within a 24-hour timeframe.

After your treatment, it's advisable to steer clear of activities that induce sweating, such as workouts, sauna sessions, and prolonged sun exposure. Swimming should also be avoided to safeguard the integrity of your freshly applied permanent makeup. While you can resume your regular activities right away, it's common to observe more pronounced effects, like darkening and minor swelling, the following day. If you're experiencing discomfort or have appearance-related concerns, it may be beneficial to take a day off. Otherwise, you can typically resume your usual routine the day after your treatment.
