I'm looking forward to the weekend. All the students will be going to the village and I'm going to enjoy the silence. I need to catch up on my midday naps before the break starts.

Yep, kids yelling and screaming at all hours of the night. Glad I don't deal with that.

That dance was as lame as it was when I was a student here. Not enough rock n roll, too much keeping enough space for a person between your partner.

Camp outs are manly. And I can pick the music.

I got some good news for you kids. I talked to the Headmaster and he said it was okay to take you guys out for a night. We're going to spend the night of the 31st in the forest with nothing but tents and a campfire. We'll be using muggle tents, the way camping is meant to be.

Now, this is mainly for kids in Care of Magical Creatures, but I'm opening it up to other kids. You'll be expected to follow the same rules as my kids though.

1. Don't lose your fingers.
2. Don't lose your fingers.
3. I'm in charge.

Just let me know if you want to do this by the 29th.

Just a reminder, I will not be hesitating to give any and all students a swirly if they deserve it.


For my students, I'm going to see if we can have an over night in the Forbidden Forest. Until then, each one of you pick a creature that lives in there and write about how it can kill you.

Back at the castle... I think it's time for a trip to the pub already.


In the mean time, my students should tell me why they deserve a field trip this year.

I got a job lined up. It's about time too, this summer is already too boring.

It better not be another Kappa though.

I think sleeping in the back of my car is a bit more comfortable than crashing on Kazuhiko's lumpy couch.

Exams are coming up, a heads up for my kids that it involves nothing written. It's a hands on test so you better be prepared to get dirty.


I'm thinking that we need another staff meeting before school ends. Like the one before winter break.

Of course Gryffindor won against a bunch of bookworms. It's like I told Sammy, brawn beats brain, even if it's a sport where you can crash to the ground and kill yourself.

Just don't release bludgers in the building, it gets you detention for a month. I know this because I lived it.
