* In July 2005, Shuping Peng received her B.S. degree in Physics from Jilin University, China, with GPA 91.4/100. She was honored as the Excellent Graduate of Jilin University. At the same year, she was recommended for directly pursuing Ph.D degree in Peking University.
* In July 2010, she obtained her Ph.D in State Key Laboratory of Advanced Optical Communication Systems & Networks, EECS, Peking University, China.
* In 2012, she won Peking University Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award.
* In August 2010, she started working as a Research Officer in the High Performance Networks Group, CSEE, the University of Essex, UK.
* In September 2012, she moved with the High Performance Networks Group, and started working as a Research Fellow in Dep. of EEE at the University of Bristol, UK.
** Her research interests: Optics in Data Centre, Intra-DC design, Inter-DC communications, Network Virtualization, Coordinated IT (DC) and Optical Network Virtualization, SDN/OpenFlow, Future Optical Internet, TCP/IP over Optical networks, etc.
** She has published over 50 journal and conference papers.
