WHO DO WE SERVE

Bridging specializes in providing a “foundational home setup” to those who need items necessary to create a comfortable and functional home.
As families face the challenge of finding affordable housing, employment, education, and health care, they may be left with limited resources to furnish their home. Be relieving the pressure to purchase furnishings, Bridging services provide families a comfortable home and allows them to focus on other crucial matters in their life. Everyone who receives furniture from Bridging is referred by a human service provider, healthcare agency, or faith-based organization.
Through the efforts of a small team of paid staff, nearly 5,000 volunteers, and more than 270 social services agencies primarily in the Twin Cities 7-county area, Bridging is able to serve more than 13,000 individuals each year. Like spokes on a wheel, Bridging represents one part of the process for an individual or family to build a fresh start.
