About the challenge
The BRHS 2025 Hackathon invites students of all experience levels to explore innovation at the intersection of technology and healthcare. Participants will collaborate in teams to design and build projects that address real-world health challenges—ranging from accessibility and patient support to data-driven solutions.

Whether you’re a beginner coder or an experienced developer, this hackathon is for you. Workshops will introduce new skills and topics, while activities provide opportunities to practice and explore. Bring creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to learn—no prior experience required.
Requirements
What to Build

A prototype, app, website, or other tech-based project that offers an innovative solution to a healthcare-related problem.

Projects should highlight creativity, usability, and impact.
What to Submit

A project description explaining the problem, your solution, and how it works.

Screenshots or a short demo video (max 3 minutes).

Innovation
How creative, original, or unique is the project? Does it introduce a new approach, idea, or solution, especially within healthcare? -
Impact
Does the project meaningfully address a healthcare-related problem? Could it improve accessibility, outcomes, or community well-being? -
Technical Quality
How well does the project function? Is the code or prototype technically sound, even if simple? For beginners, effort and learning will be considered. -
Design & Usability
Is the project easy to use and understand? Is the user interface, workflow, or presentation clear and accessible?
