We are a small close-knit team, who are passionate about the success of the brewery. Here’s some insight into the people behind our great beers…
(Founder and Business Development)
Brehon Brewhouse is the brain child of Killanny local, Seamus McMahon and he modified a farm that’s been in his family for over 100 years to facilitate the creation of a micro-brewery. Seamus’ has over 40 years of experience in farming and has provided milk for Baileys since 2006. This experience enabled Seamus to jumpstart his success in the brewing industry as the principles of good farming lend themselves well to the principles of good brewing.
(Brand Director)
As Brand Director, Siobhan leads the Brehon Brewhouse Marketing team and has built our brand to what it is today. Siobhan holds an Arts Degree in Fashion from the University of Ulster and is also a graduate of the Limerick School of Art and Design. As well as her role as brand custodian, Siobhan is responsible for managing the Brehon Brewhouse Tour Experience. Outside of her work at the brewery, Siobhan is a keen gardener and it’s her we have to thank for the beautiful flowers that adorn the brewery grounds throughout the seasons.
Head Brewer
Hailing from County Offaly, Dave has over 14 years experience in the brewing industry, having worked for some of the most well respected breweries in the country. Since his arrival, Dave has not only improved the recipes that were here before him, but he has completely revolutionized the Brewery. From new beers to innovative brewing techniques and processes, Dave has used his wealth of expericence to dramatically improve our beer portfolio, adding Gluten Free, Alcohol Free and Nitrogenated beers to our range.
Brewery Manager
With over 12 years of experience as a Grocery Retail Manager, James has brought those skills and experience into managing the day to day running of the Brewery. He has also become an expert in the packaging process and strives to achieve the highest quality standards resulting in consistently great beers. James also looks after the social media for the Brewery and uses his unique creativeness to create consistently high standard content.

Conor is champion of the Brehon Brand across the island of Ireland. Never afraid to do the footwork, Conor has introduced Brehon Brewhouse beers to a number of retail chains and independent stores, pubs and restaurants, throughout Ireland. With over 10 years experience running his own Off Licence, Conor knows the off trade like the back of his hand. This coupled with his undeniable charm makes Conor the perfect Brand Ambassador.
(Brewing Operative)
As James’ right-hand man, Adrian is a key member of the brewing team ensuring that output targets are met every day. Adrian is a man of many talents from painting to farming but he’s developed a real talent for managing the brewing process and keeping the rest of us on schedule!
