Topics for the papers might include, but are not limited to:

Work-in-progress seminar
Nature of the seminar is work-in-progress, emphasising peer-to-peer discussion. For each paper, 30 min. slot is provided, including only 10 min. of presentation and 20 min. of discussion.
Invited commentators
Paper commentators include Markus Montola, researcher from the University of Tampere; Aki Järvinen researcher from the Finnish National Lottery Veikkaus and Simon Niedenthal, associate professor of interaction design from Malmö University.
The Game Research Lab in the University of Tampere is a top facility for culturally and qualitatively oriented games research and part of its new media department, Hypermedia Laboratory. It provides both traditional and experimental means for examining games and players, together with the various cultural, social, and psychological aspects that are important in wider contexts of gaming.
