Fireplaces

Designed for indoor and outdoor living spaces, with options that balance performance, efficiency,
and design flexibility.

Fireplaces

We offer a wide range of indoor and outdoor fireplaces from trusted manufacturers, including gas, wood-burning, and electric options. We help guide the choice to fit the space, timeline, and budget so the process stays clear from start to finish.

Indoor Fireplaces

Indoor fireplaces are selected based on how a home is built, how rooms are used, and the level of heat or ambiance desired. Options vary by fuel type, venting requirements, and visual style, making early planning important. We help guide selections that align with interior layouts, meet local code requirements, and integrate smoothly into both new construction and renovation projects.

Outdoor Fireplaces

Outdoor fireplaces bring warmth and structure to patios, courtyards, and outdoor living areas. Selection depends on exposure to the elements, fuel type, and how the space is used throughout the year. We help builders and homeowners choose outdoor fireplaces that balance durability, performance, and visual impact while fitting the overall outdoor design.

Accessories & Finishing

Accessories and finishing elements play a critical role in both the appearance and function of a fireplace. From visual framing to protective and performance-focused components, these details help ensure the final installation feels complete, intentional, and well integrated into the surrounding space. The right finishing touches can elevate the overall look while supporting long-term use and durability.

Our Brands

We carry a curated selection of indoor and outdoor fireplaces from leading brands, chosen for performance, safety, and design flexibility, making it easier to select products that align with the space, fuel type, and the project needs.

Troubleshooting FAQ

Before scheduling service, here are a few common issues we’re often asked about. If you’re unsure or if something doesn’t seem right, we recommend contacting our team.

IS THE GAS TURNED ON?
It may sound obvious, but gas valves are often turned off during warmer months or long periods of non-use. After turning the gas back on, wait a few minutes and then try lighting the fireplace again.
If you smell gas at any point, turn the system off immediately and schedule a service appointment.

HAVE YOU CHECKED THE BATTERIES?
If your fireplace remote isn’t working, the issue may be as simple as replacing the batteries. Many systems also have batteries in the receiver, typically located under or near the fireplace controls. Refer to your fireplace manual for exact locations.

When your remote is set to thermostat mode (SMART-STAT or RCT-MLT models), the fireplace is designed to operate within a temperature range rather than switching on and off immediately.

The system requires the room temperature to vary by approximately 2°F (1°C) from your set point before activating. This prevents constant cycling and helps extend the life of the unit.

Yes. The glass on a gas fireplace reaches very high temperatures during operation.

For safety:

  • Always supervise children in the same room
  • Do not operate the fireplace with protective barriers removed
  • Keep furniture, clothing, and other combustibles at a safe distance

Protective screens installed on direct vent fireplaces help reduce the risk of burns, but caution should always be used.

Direct vent gas fireplaces are designed to provide both visual appeal and heat output. While mantels and surrounding surfaces may feel hot, they remain within ANSI and UL safety standards for combustible materials.

To put this into context:

  • Combustible surfaces are permitted to reach 117°F above room temperature
  • With an average room temperature of 70–75°F, surface temperatures of 187–192°F are acceptable
  • A surface temperature of 150°F will feel very hot to the touch (for comparison, bath water averages 110°F and water boils at 212°F)

This heat level is expected and compliant with safety standards.

Most gas fireplaces will operate during a power outage, but how they work depends on whether you have a standing pilot or electronic ignition system.

No. The blower fan requires standard household electricity. The fireplace will still produce the same amount of heat, just without forced air circulation.

The wall switch is low voltage:

  • Standing pilot systems generate their own millivolts from the pilot flame.
  • Electronic ignition systems use household electricity to light the pilot, and batteries take over during an outage.
  • Standing pilot: The pilot stays lit when you turn off the wall switch.
  • Electronic ignition: The pilot goes out when you turn off the wall switch.

Fireplaces installed before 2005–2010 are usually standing pilot. Most installed after 2005–2010 are electronic ignition with battery back‑up.

  • The pilot stays lit at all times, so the fireplace does not need electricity.
  • If the wall switch works when the power is on, it will work when the power is out.
  • If the pilot is lit but the flame won’t turn on, check the control knob under the fireplace and make sure it is in the ON position.
  • These units need batteries (typically two D batteries or 4 AA batteries) to light the pilot during an outage.
  • Once the pilot is lit, the fireplace runs on low‑voltage control wiring.
  • Remove the batteries once power is restored to prevent corrosion or premature battery drain.
