Bramble Blossom Studio
Handmade Macrame &
Fibre Art Wall Hangings by a Vancouver Island Artist
Original home decor, tapestries, and custom wall art created in the Comox Valley, BC

Handmade macrame wall hangings, fibre art tapestries, and home decor — thoughtfully created on Vancouver Island and available across Canada.
Proudly creating fibre art in the Comox Valley and exhibiting locally across Vancouver Island.

Hello,
I’m Lisa
A Macrame Artist and Fiber Art Artist.
Most days you’ll find me in my studio with my chocolate lab sidekick, Poppy. In her role as studio manager she organizes supplies, sketches out creatives (which is quite amazing since she doesn’t have opposable thumbs), and is Chief foot warmer on colder days.
If you’re looking for macrame wall tapestries, thoughtful gifts, or other handcrafted home decor items, you’re in the right place.

If you manage a café, restaurant, hotel, or other public-facing space with a creative, design-forward atmosphere, I’d love to connect. I selectively exhibit fibre art in environments where the work can be experienced slowly and thoughtfully.

What Collectors Are Saying
“ I am happy to share my review of this amazing fibre artist, Lisa! Her creations are absolutely beautiful. Over the years I have purchased many different pieces of her work from wall hangings to the most creative christmas decorations. She pours so much heart and soul into every single piece she designs, and you can truly feel the love. It’s incredible how much thought goes into each project! I’m always in awe of her talent. Be sure to check out her website, you definitely will not be disappointed!

Macramé Wall Art from Vancouver Island — Shoreline at Rest, Now Available
There is a particular quality of light on Vancouver Island in winter — low and soft, the kind that turns the water silver and makes the shoreline feel quietly suspended. It was a walk at Goose Spit that inspired this piece of macrame wall art — Vancouver Island’s coastline distilled into fibre, knot, and driftwood.…

Best Wall Art for Neutral Interiors (A Design-Led Guide)
Neutral interiors are often misunderstood. They’re described as minimal, simple, even plain. In reality, the most compelling neutral homes rely on something far more nuanced — material, light, proportion, and texture. And wall art plays a significant role in whether a neutral space feels layered or flat. If you’re styling a calm, modern interior, here’s…

Textured Wall Art vs Canvas: What Changes a Room?
When choosing wall art, many homeowners default to canvas. It’s familiar. Easy to frame. Widely available. But in design-led homes — particularly those with neutral palettes and open layouts — more people are beginning to explore textured wall art instead. So what actually changes when you choose fibre over canvas? The difference isn’t dramatic at…
