Brain Tool Kit uses eye movements, memory and coloured stimuli to exercise the brain. Examples for exercises are given as a starting point. Options include: Gaze fixation, pursuits, OPK, hemistim, saccades and anti-saccades, timed and interactive Stroop test where the user must make sense of incongruent stimuli; and random letter display that can be used to have the user say a word starting with that letter. Options for speed and length of activity are given for every item. Options for green, red or blue targets are given.
Brain Tool Kit is designed to be an affordable app that should be used under the guidance of a practitioner with knowledge of Functional Neurology or clinical neuroscience. Practitioners can use this app for assessment as well as to facilitate homework.
