Horror isn't my favorite genre, in fact I avoided it for a long time.Used to have a lot of nightmares as a kid so avoiding triggers seemed wise.Anyway, growing up is done by stepping outside your comfort zone, so while there are still movies I stay clear off (torture horror and jumpscare-heavy movies) I've definitely seen plenty to participate in this showdown.

As for this challenge.. didn’t think I’d ever participate in a horror challenge but here we are. I tried to stick to movies that were on my watchlist already but that’s not always possible following the Hooptober criteria.

Not sure if I’ll make it or not, 31 movies by the end of October seems like a lot.. It doesn’t give me much room to watch different movies or tv shows, but as long as it stays fun and doesn't feel like a task, I’ll see how far I’ll get.
There’s plenty of variation and subgenres in horror though so that should help.
If I'd watch other horror movies in that time period, I'll add them to the list aswel, labeled as 'bonus'.
