Oof. The acting in this so bad it was pretty tough to get through. About halfway, I had to switch it up to 1.5x. My favorite part, I think was a throwaway line where one of the girls gets all aggro wanting to go after the clows, and the guy says, “Calm down, Ripley.” I’d say pass. It’s pretty boring and had barely anything to do with Halloween despite the title. Sorry, Britt. 🎃🤩

Hidden gem? No no no
This features a Dollar Store Pennywise at best... Too chatty to be Art the Clown but it is trying so hard to be Terrifier. Maybe just shut your pie hole and smile?
I regret getting my kitchen chores all done so I could sit back and "enjoy this"... Now it gets counted as a serious waste of time. This was a total chore to get through, and to think I could have been doing my dishes or watering my plants…
Bum. This started with Halloween decorations porn and a cute clown so I got settled in for a nice time. But then it went into the most mindnumbing 'investigation' with the flattest characters that gave me grump face. It picked up a bit once it then went into clown mayhem and those parts were somewhat enjoyable.
"Did you see the 'U' falling off his jacket? Now it just says 'C Dicks'."
More like YAWN Halloween.

The dialog, the acting are not where it's at.
For an omnipotent foe, Boo's barely a meany.
& for a Halloween film it's not Halloweeny.
Boo is rhyming and criming and clowning. Great fun.
& I'm watching On Halloween in which there is none.
Tons of plot, tho! All painfully boring.
Left me checking my watch & damn near snoring.
Good body count but the violence is mostly offscreen & the picture's so dark that it all goes unseen.
I don't recommend it.
What can I say?
Besides 'spare yourself. Don't drink the Boo-lade'.

Happy Halloween!
This flick is almost as good as it is terrible.
The good:
It opens with a scary stories to tell in the dark.
UC Dicks - was legit funny. The cops are the comic relief, and they stole the show.
The rest of the characters were actually pretty entertaining.
The bad:
The dub audio is so awful. You have to accept it to enjoy the film, which is really hard considering this is a shitty killer clown flick.
I did actually enjoy the characters in this film with the exception of the fucking clown. It was by far the worst part of the movie. Why did he always have to rhyme?
I hated the clown!
I still had fun with it though.

I can't decide if I consider this a Guilty Pleasure or a So Bad It's Amazing movie.
This is an absolutely ridiculous horror movie about killer clowns that kill people and try to turn others into killer clowns as well. I almost have to give the filmmakers credit for treating this laughable material seriously, but I doubt they even realized just how dumb it is.

I love how, despite the establishing shots of L.A., it is painfully obvious that the entire cast is trying to mask their Australian accents. As I've mentioned before, this is my sole criteria for judging U.K./Aussie actors (Nicole Kidman gets a pass, because how does she do it?!) and here, most fail miserably. It adds an additional layer of awkwardness to an already wacky romp.
A TMZ correspondent on the hunt for a low-rent Art the Clown who tries to pass his identity onto a new human host via "magick elixir." His rhyming way of speaking reminded me of writing corny romantic poems when I was like 13.
