Cinemonster's annual Horror challenge is back for it's 9th year in a row - this being my 2nd time at giving it a stab (pun intended). See last years HERE
All the films below are first time watches for me.
Once completed I will rank them in order from favourite to least.
THIS YEARS RULES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Rule 1: There must be 31 films in total with at least 6 countries and 8 different decades
Rule 2: 2 insect centred films
Rule 3: 1 horror film set in space or the future (relative to when it was released)
Rule 4: 2 animated films
Rule 5: 1 bloodthirsty old person/people film
Rule 6: 2 1970s regional US films
Rule 7: The worst…

Rule 8: 1 German Silent
Rule 9: 5 Films from David Cronenberg, Ti West, Bill Rebane, Charles B. Pierce, William Grefe and/or Joy N. Houck Jr.
Rule 10: 2 Christopher Lee films
Rule 11: 1 film with a musician or band in it (A real life musician or band)
Rule 12: 1 Stephen King adaptation that is not the first go around.
Rule 13: 1 Lon Chaney film. (NOT JR)
And finally, Rule 14: 1 Tobe Hooper Film (There must always be a Tobe Hooper Film!)
