🏆🏆🏆 Participants
We easily could have won this thing. No probs. Walk in the park. It's just that this thing came up... but hey, we've got this in the bag next year. IN-THE-BAG. Am I right or am I right!
A big thank you to ALL participants. Everytime we watch and rate or review a subtitled film we colour the map, and surely that's got to encourage others to start watching World Cinema.

The original Challenge Info
Another year, another covid edition of the March Around the World Challenge. This year, let's visit Denmark!
The stats and lists:
The 2022 Spreadsheet
Participant Film Lists. If your list isn't here, it isn't tagged with 30 countries 2022
All Diary entries (from that page you can select Films, Reviews and Lists for items with the tag.
Comment on this list to automatically get updates and information. If you can suggest lists that are related to the feature country, post them in the comments and I'll include them here.
Note: there is 1 important change this year.
The country tag is the country as it is known today, and as listed in Letterboxd. No more 'Czechia' or 'Czech Republic' or 'Czechoslovakia' - depending on when it was made.
--> Tip: to see films by country AND by language (to ensure you not including all the various producing countries), search for: "https://letterboxd.com/films/country/denmark/language/danish/size/large/", where "denmark" and "danish" is whatever you want.
*** The Challenge***
Watch and review 30 feature films from 30 different countries in the month of March including 1 film from Denmark.
The Rules
1. Feature films only (60+ min)
2. No re-watches.
3. Only films watched, logged and reviewed in March 2022 count.
4. One film must be from Denmark.
5. Log your films the day they are watched (you can add reviews later) and tag them with these two tags immediately:
--> tag 1: "30 countries 2022"
--> tag 2: the film's country e.g., "Denmark" (and *only* 1 country)
Note:
please DO NOT edit your profile username during the month of March. It makes it so much more difficult for me to update the spreadsheet that goes with the challenge.
Note for newcomers:
re country: Letterboxd includes many countries for each film, based on production companies. Use the most reasonable one. If the director is from Spain and the language is Spanish, please don't use USA as the country even if it is listed.
re review: A review that counts is informative about the film and shows that you have watched it (what you liked, didn't like, etc). Aim for a 5-6 line paragraph and you will be in the minimum ballpark. Things like "I watched it for this Challenge" and "I watched it with Bob" don't count.
And as always, it is less about completing the challenge and more about watching cinema from around the world during the month. Thanks to Berken for creating the original challenge back in 2013.
