I’m so happy I got to host this month's Scavenger Hunt! This is the first time I applied for the raffle and I've been selected, feeling so lucky right now. I’m kinda new to the ‘film business’, I’m a lot more familiar with the TV show world. So I'm constantly learning new things and trying to explore as many different countries, languages and genres as I can. But we all got our favorites right? I hope that with the prompts I have come up with, we get to know each other better and feel more at home in the Letterboxd community. And of course, learn and enjoy a lot about movies!

1. Last month's prompts were amazing! Let’s thank Zach by watching one of his favorite horror movies. (Free space for Zach) 
2. We have finally arrived at the sixth month of the year. Sort your watchlist in shuffle and watch the sixth movie that comes up. 
3. Today is Corpus Christi, a very popular brazilian religious holiday. Watch a brazilian film. Bonus if it’s Auto da Compadecida. 
4. Today is the release date of The Conjuring 3, from The Conjuring Universe, one of my favorite horror franchises. Watch a movie from a horror franchise (Preferably the third one). Here’s a list.
5. Happy birthday Jacques Demy! Watch a film by Jacques Demy. 
6. How are you feeling with the middle of the year coming? Does that make you happy or sad? Watch a movie with an emotion on the title. 
7. Is popularity a sign of genius? Sort your watchlist in film popularity and watch one of the first 5 movies to come up. 
8. Now, go to the end of your watchlist and watch one of the least popular movies.

9. Today is H day. Choose between two of my favorite actresses, Katharine Hepburn and Audrey Hepburn. Watch a movie from Katharine or Audrey Hepburn.
10. Like I said, I’m new in the movie business, I was more a TV show kind of girl and my favorite show is Doctor Who. Watch a movie starring a Doctor Who actor, or even better, a guest star. Here’s a nice link. 
11. Hannibal is also one of my favorite shows. We all know what Hannibal is about, right? But he’s also a psychiatrist! Watch a movie featuring a psychiatrist/psychologist. You can find some here.
12. Now, what’s your favorite show? Watch a movie with a similar theme as your favorite TV show. (Mine’s Doctor Who right? So I’ll watch a movie about time travel) 
13. I’m a fashion designer, so to me the costume design is a very important part of the movie experience. Go to Crew > Costume on the movie with your favorite costume and watch a movie with the same costume designer. 
14. Ann Roth won this year's Oscar for Best Costume Designer for her work in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. Let’s celebrate her. Watch a movie with costumes by Ann Roth. 
15. Production Design is also a key component to any movie (and one of my favorite things). Go to the movie that has your favorite production work and watch a movie by the same production designer.
16. Now, back to me: when I first started to watch more films, I made a list with 100 random films and watched them in order, ranking it after. Watch a movie from my ‘100 random movies’ list. Bonus if you watch The Love Witch. 
17. One of my main goals is to watch more movies in different languages, especially asian ones. Check my ‘100 greatest korean films ever’ list and watch one of them. 
18. I’m also a makeup artist, and I think we can all agree that our favorite actors wouldn’t be able to play such amazing characters without this part of production. Watch an Oscar winner from the category ‘Best Makeup and Hairstyling’. Here’s the list. 
19. Colors colors colors! Oh God, I love colors! Watch a movie from what’s called ‘candy cinema’. Here’s the list. 
20. Religion, mythology and folklore are some of my favorite fields of study, especially spooky legends and myths. Watch a movie based on folklore or mythology. You can find some of them here. 
21. Have you ever fallen in love with a director just by watching a few of their works? This happened to me with Wong Kar-wai. Watch a movie from a director you want to know the work better. 
22. It’s Billy Wilder’s Birthday! Celebrate it by watching one of the many works from the black and white genius. Watch a Billy Wilder movie. 
23. I’m constantly learning new film terms, genres and subgenres. A new passion of mine is gothic cinema. Watch a gothic movie. Here’s a list. 
24. Looking at LGBTQ+ movies, I’ve always thought lesbians/sapphics movies are overlooked. As a lesbian myself, I also need to see more stories. Watch a sapphic movie. Here’s a cool list. 
25. I’m a sucher for Old Hollywood, especially comedies. Watch any Old Hollywood comedy that was released from 1930-49. You can check some of them in this list. 
26. Speaking of Old Hollywood, the 30’s and 40’s are my favorite decades. If Cary Grant is in it I can assure you it’ll be a good movie. Watch a movie starring Cary Grant. 
27. Now that my queerness and love for OH has been established, watch a movie with a queer old Hollywood star. Here’s an article that may help. 
28. I promised a spot to my beautiful friend (and future wife) Giovanna. She’s a big fan of River Phoenix. Watch a movie starring River Phoenix.  
29. We’re getting to the end of this, so I want to thank my friend Lis, who helped me with the prompts. She’s very fond of the German language and since she’s learning it, let’s help her. Watch a movie in German. 
30. The middle of the year has come. Most of this year's releases are already out. Watch a 2021 movie.
