Flips the script on your typical serial killer film, which I actually really felt added to it. We're not dealing with a killer who is trying to evade the cops. He is captured by the cops in the first bit and then it's about the confession after countless police and family member beatings. Then we get all of his horrific exploits as told through flashbacks during his confession.

You can tell Danny Lee was a part of this one both as an actor and in the director's chair as the Hong Kong police are depicted competently, since he's pals with the boys in blue. "Bloody" Billy Tang once again lives up to his name. Body parts everywhere as Simon Yam plays the brutally misogynistic Dr Lamb. His wolf howls as he cuts up his first victim was chilling. He's going all out in this much like he did in Run and Kill

Feels very akin to The Untold Story as this too was loosely inspired by real events in Hong Kong.
